Juan

Juan was a siding on the Barnwell & Searchlight Railway. The railway was built in 1906-07 by the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway to connect Searchlight to the mining camp of Barnwell, California, then on to the ATSF main line at Goffs. After the boom at Searchlight subsided in the 1910s, the Barnwell & Searchlight operated only twice a week until September 1923 when the line was devastated by washouts. It was ultimately abandoned early the next year.
