Starr Valley
Starr Valley was named for Lieutenant Augustus Washington Starr, who is credited as the valley's first settler after leaving the army at Fort Halleck in the late 1860s, though he left by 1870. The valley has since grown as an agricultural region, with a community hall and cemetery.
