Eagleville
Despite its longer lifespan, Eagleville never amounted to much. It began with a gold discovery in 1882 by Albert A. Woodruff, who established the Eagleville Mining Company. Work began two years later, and a camp developed by the end of the decade. For several years it limped along, until a more promising strike at Rawhide led to its eventual demise.
