Hercules
[Not to be confused with Hercules in Churchill County]
Hercules was a flash-in-the-pan camp that emerged in 1865 following the discovery of a 'monster ledge' in the canyon. After failing to find worthwhile silver deposits, the camp was abandoned, and nothing else has been found about its existence.
