Pocotillo

White Pine County

Pocotillo, sometimes erroneously called Picotillo, was established on the east side of Treasure Hill in March 1869 amid the initial rush to White Pine. Though it was heavily promoted by developers, its steep location proved to be its downfall and it did not last beyond 1870.
