"Falling Man" Petroglyph Area
Located within Gold Butte National Monument, the "Falling Man" petroglyph area (sometimes called the Luke Whitney Petroglyphs) is a sprawling labyrinth of rocks with various panels. The best known of these is the eponymous "Falling Man", an unusual petroglyph high on a cliff face that appears to depict someone falling to the ground, several yards below. While I have only had the opportunity to visit the Falling Man so far, I look forward to returning to spend more time exploring the many rock art panels that can be found nearby.
